Sorry for the double post but thought you'd all get a kick out of the irony of this.
I got an email from FF today.
"We're happy to announce that we've dramatically increased the download file size limit for free members.
The previous limit meant that unless you were a Premium member you couldn't download any files larger than 500MB.
Now we've increased this limit to 2GB!"
So basically, they are increasing their file limit for free users and decreasing the amount of stuff premium users can upload and keep uploaded? Nice! (sarcasm).
hi all, is anyone having problems trying to get a premium membership with filefactory? i have tried their main page and various resellers and all say the same thing "transaction declined" details correct, money avail, just plain and simply no transaction :/ ive never had this much of a problem trying to pay for anything, i have tried at least 6 times over the last few weeks. ive even emailed them to ask why and the support.filefactory.com is just dead ;( is anyone else coming up against this problem or is the world just out to get me lol
If I may suggest since this has happened to me on 5 consecutive occasions of renewal as I continued to forget - and even now it's fading though I renewed my FF just last week - the 'key' element. I will assume that you have filled out all of your details in a proper and coherent manner - we now come to
Zip / Postal Code
-- I am living in Ireland so this should - as a non-US-based or even UK-based entry - be a redundant entry but ISN'T and I always fill in something coherent here
Phone (This field is optional)
-- this is MOST CERTAINLY NOT optional - a simple 0 (zero) here has satisfied the database for me on each occasion that an empty selection has caused it to be rejected
I don't know if that is of any assistance but it works for this 70 year old
I'm a premium member, but I've been unable to access the site at all for over a week. I've contacted support for help on the matter, and they were clueless. I thought it was just me. It would be nice for them to let someone who pays for their service know why the service is failing...Anyway, if anyone finds out, I hope they post here and shed some light on that shady business.
This happened to me about two weeks ago, I tried to renew my premium "early" and both times failed. My bank called me about it. I am confused as to what went wrong.
Is everyone who is having the problem not located in the US? Just wondering if maybe it has something to do with that? Only ask because I just renewed my membership cause they had a sale if you got a year membership for $49, and I live in the US and had no trouble so maybe it had something to do with what mike9999 said about zip code and phone numbers and such?
