I'm so sorry. I've luckily been able to download everything you've uploaded for me. I know they still keep having problems though. Sad

It's strange.  I attempted to download the latest episode of Starfleet Academy here just now, only to get that "0 bytes" response.  I then used the search function for "STAkademija.S01E05.480p.x264-mSD.rar" and got the result, but clicking on that result got me to "0 bytes" again.  Searching for just "Starfleet Academy" brought up their most recent episodes, and for some reason, that 492 MB download worked...

I had this problem. It was a quirk going on with FileFactory. I was using jdownloader and got the same thing but I gave it a few days and it worked again, finding the MB correctly and this wasn't a jdownloader problem. So I think its something that happens on and off with FF with their new system.

Hi. Is anybody else having trouble with FF again? On JDownloader all I get is "plugin outdated"

I get the same thing. FF has been this way for days, a week even. If you go to the site to login it gives a “unexpected error” display and wont log you in.  ?

I did finally manage to log in on FileFactory today - I did a quick search for The Rookie, found S08E07, clicked on one of the usual size - and went to a white screen that just said, at top left, "internal server error"... that came up every time I tried for a different copy on the list.  Out of curiosity, as I'd already got the file, I then searched for 9-1-1, clicked on a copy, and got

Error 1101 Ray ID: 9d517eef3888ef27 • 2026-02-28 17:03:31 UTC

Worker threw exception

What happened?

You've requested a page on a website (stream.filefactory.com) that is on the Cloudflare network. An unknown error occurred while rendering the page.

What can I do?

If you are the owner of this website:
refer to Workers - Errors and Exceptions and check Workers Logs for stream.filefactory.com.

- After that, clicking on a copy of 'A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms' just got me back to "internal server error"...

Still the internal server error - after clicking on the episode 7 of the current season of The Rookie, there is a fraction of a second when the downloading page appears, and all seems well - only for that to vanish, leaving just the blank white page with "internal server error" on it.

It's worrying that the search results page for The Rookie has nothing more recent that episode 7, with uploads on February 17th - nobody has managed to upload episodes 8 or 9, one week or two weeks later than that!  Still, Jedan will sort things out, when he gets back from his rather extended Caribbean vacation!   Cool

Well folks, things aren't looking good for FileFactory... Jedan's absence hopefully will end soon but even when he returns (and I hope all is well with him) it is looking like he may need to completely re-upload the hundreds of Tb's to another server to maintain this site. (I would vote for Rapidgator if he so chooses) Unfortunately that may prove to be way too much to ask, especially given the lack of $$$ support from the users here these past couple of years. But we can hope!

From GROK when I asked for an update about the FF website:

User complaints have spiked especially since late 2025 / early 2026:
  • Trustpilot sits at a dismal ~1.6/5 from hundreds of reviews, with many calling it "dead," "closed down," or ruined after a "beta rollout" or "updated version" that broke everything.
  • Forums like Reddit (r/techsupport, r/RealDebrid), Guitars101, and PissedConsumer have recent threads (Feb–Mar 2026) describing it as "unusable / actually dead," "good as dead," or "effectively dead now, can't login nor use."
  • Some mention a major meltdown or technical overhaul around 2025 that started the decline, with intermittent problems escalating to near-total failure.
Regarding plugins (e.g., for JDownloader, pyLoad, browser extensions, Real-Debrid integration, or other download managers):
Yes, that's a major symptom. The plugins no longer work reliably (or at all) because the site's backend/login/API changes have broken compatibility. Older plugins throw errors due to outdated website structure, HTTPS issues, authorization failures, or the site's instability. Even manual browser downloads often fail, so plugin-based automated grabbing is hit hardest.
It doesn't look like a full shutdown (the domain is still active, and some basic pages might load), but rather a slow death from neglect, failed updates, security problems, or possible operational collapse. No official announcements explain what's happening — the company has been silent.
If you're relying on it:
  • Alternatives like Rapidgator, Keep2Share, DDOWNLOAD, or others are frequently recommended in the same communities complaining about FileFactory (they tend to have far better recent ratings).
  • If you have premium time left, many users report it's wasted now.
Unfortunately, it seems FileFactory is no longer a functional option for reliable file hosting/downloads in 2026.

Islandor,

I have had the same issues with FileFactory. Thankfully, my subscription expired with all their issues.

I completely agree, it is time to change file share. I will go with whatever you guys recommend. As a donator, I am happy to keep donating. I appreciate all that everyone does to keep this site up and running.

Heart Heart Heart to you all!
