I totally agree. If everyone donated even ONE DOLLAR every month there would not be a need to beg. With all that you do for us there shouldn't be a need to beg anyways.

If people truly love this forum and all that it offers then imagine it gone ... seriously....  poof - gone! Then imagine how everyone's one dollar monthly donation could save it.. every ... single ... month... ONE DOLLAR! I don't care how poor you are, everyone spends at least one dollar on something frivolous every month .. and 1-link is NOT frivolous! It's a real gem to treasure! Please don't make our wonderful benefactors beg for help every month, give a dollar (or more) to help our benefactors and let 1-link always thrive!!  Thank you, Jedan, and all the 1-link staff and supporters for keeping this wonderful board going every month.

I agree JEDAN but, there should be more ways of donating what happened to paypal just about everyone uses it.

I donate every month via PayPal.  You have to do it through another site though. I think it was a problem with PayPal compatibility if I remember right. The site is:   http://simple-indeed.com   Click on the yellow donate button and it will take you right to PayPal.   Jedan made a post about it awhile back.

I do this thru this site every month but with me and my wife medical bills and our abused and abounded cat rescue we have  sometimes only a dollar is all we have to donate

Hello and good health to all!

I've been very absent since work has me away from home all but a day every two weeks, so I haven't kept up here and lots of other places I used to frequent.

I plan a donation as soon as I get a note back that simple-indeed is still the best route. With 3 years since the last blog post, confirmation will be helpful and encouraging.

That said, the site looks a little down. Is everything OK with the admins and the team? Any requests or suggestions other than support to keep the bills paid?

Watching online sites and people come and go, most of the time without warning or explanation, leaves lingering sadness and concern.

Small sites like 1-link that survive by donation and build the user base mostly through word of mouth constantly struggle.

I hope for brighter days ahead for all.
