FF remains a problem. JD has updated their plugins but still no luck in download either new or old links. JD support has been very good in trying to fix things... FF support (for me) has been useless... tried sending a ticket via their support but their system would not complete the sending... LOL... FF is a mess still.

I can finally get Internet Download Manager to work again on classic.filefactory.com.  On any old files that don't have "classic"  in the in the URL for the RAR file I have been able to copy the section after the last slash (for exampleCikagoVatra.S14E01.480p.x264-mSD.rar)and paste it into the "search"
area on classic.filefactory.com to find the file so I can download it. This is working - so far Dodgy I don't know if it works without Premium.

Good news (for now)is that JD was able to get a new plug-in up today and FF seems to be working again. According to the good folks at JDownloader,  FF has reverted to the older format, so unless they keep screwing around it may work for a while.

It is working for me again also.  Here is the message I got from FF's customer support.......Gwen

In response to customer feedback we have reverted back to the previous version of the site which has been running reliably for the past few years. But we have given it a slightly refreshed UI - you can access it now at
https://www.filefactory.com/

All previous features should now work, and hopefully, any issues you were experiencing should now be resolved.

However, if you are still having any problems, please respond with:
  • a URL of the page / file you are trying to access

  • any error code or text

  • a screenshot if possible

  • any additional information you think might help - does this problem happen all the time, or sporadically?

  • please log in if possible and send us all the results from
    https://www.filefactory.com/support/diagnostics

If you’re having problems connecting to the site, please visit

https://www.filefactory.com/check

If you cannot access that page at all, please let me know your IP address from this page: https://whatismyipaddress.com/

Apologies for any inconvenience caused during the past few weeks. We still have some exciting updates planned, which will NOT adversely affect the website - we’ll just keep using this version moving forward.

Thanks for using FileFactory Smile

FF and FireFox CAPTCHA hot fix!

Heart Heart Heart

here is a quick guide on getting FF working again with Jdownloader

FF requires CAPTCHA with login and most of the time the plug-in is BROKEN in Firefox

here is how to fix it

first go to

https://my.jdownloader.org/apps/

click on firefox you should see this

Code:
If you see “the add-on could not be downloaded” in Firefox on your Windows PC:

This error is most likely caused by your anti virus or anti malware solution. But it's easy to install the extension nevertheless.

Right-click here and choose "Save As".
Open your Firefox Addon settings page (enter "about:addons" in the address bar of your browser)
Click on the settings dropdown, choose "Install Addon from File" or alternatively drag and drop the downloaded file into the window.

If the installation is still failing, please let us know

This does not work about:addons will not let you add the plug in

so right click the file and save the firefox.xpi
Code:
firefox.xpi

so now you have a file

open FireFox browser in the URL bar type
Code:
about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox

and load the page

now that the page is loaded

DRAG and DROP the firefox.xpi file onto the browser window

you should see
Code:
MyJDownloader Browser Extension > Temporary Extensions

THATS IT now you can login FF with the Firefox plug in

however it IS a temporary extension plugin so you do have to add the plugin this way each time Jdownloader is loaded

ENJOY!
